Welcome to XING. Your journey takes place on a series of mysterious islands, where you must solve a diversity of puzzles. Spiritualism, mysticism and logic come together in the land of XING, where you will traverse mountains, deserts, forests, volcanoes and more. Puzzles based on your observation and learning, as well as the overarching themes that guide the entire game world. You progress at your own pace, and sometimes you might just want to look around and soak in the environment around you. There is no combat in this game. Everything around you is there for a purpose, whether it is an aesthetic purpose or is oriented towards gameplay. The mechanics and the aesthetics of the game work together harmoniously to bring about a fully immersive gaming experience.

History
In early 2012, Koriel and John started a simple level design project for school, but once they started, they couldn't really stop. They were asked by their professor to submit the project to the IEEE GameSig competition at Chapman University. With the deadline in only a few weeks they set out to turn the map into a full fledged game. Many hours and frozen waffles later they created the land of XING - four levels of atmospheric island goodness, and made it as one of the top ten finalists for the competition. They gave their presentation in front of a panel of industry professionals took second place in the competion. Knowing they could do better, Kori and John decided to continue production into the summer and turn their award winning demo into a full game. John and Koriel invited James to the team in the fall, rounding out the team with his passion for games and general work ethic. Working long hours every week, White Lotus Interactive has been making huge strides towards the release of their first title XING: The Land Beyond, a first person adventure puzzle game for the PC.
